Data Acquisition is simply the process of sampling signals that measure the real world physical conditions and converting the resulting samples into digital numeric values that can be manipulated by a computer. In simple language, a Data Acquisition System converts analog waveforms into digital values for easy processing.

Meteorological System

Weather monitoring is very crucial to the sustainability of both humans and the environment. When dealing with hazardous weather, meteorological monitoring and prediction is even more imperative. Automatic weather stations are intended to provide highest reliability and flexibility to the primitive weather monitoring system. Our system provides a complete sensor interface and data collection platform for measuring most essential weather parameters. As any other WSCADA systems, it constitutes of data-logger, meteorological sensors, telemetry and power supply. The automatic weather station simultaneously measures wind speed and direction, precipitation, pressure, temperature, and humidity. The system monitors and reports real-time values which can also be recovered for future use.
